As the doors closed at the Boys & Girls Club Thrift Store in the Laughlin Mall, the elves were secretly working on a BIG project! The Boys & Girls Club will be opening a new thrift store in Bullhead on November 1st!
Ultimately the new store will be the Boys & Girls Club Furniture Thrift Store! The 8,500 square feet will be a wonderful place to showcase all of the sofas, loveseats, bedroom sets, dinettes, recliners, and more! The Bullhead and Fort Mohave stores currently sell furniture, but the spaces can get crowded, and it is difficult for customers to see all that the stores have to offer.
Having one large store dedicated to furniture and appliances will be a better experience for our customers! Moving the furniture to one location will also free up more space at the Fort Mohave and Bullhead stores to expand their selection of clothing, housewares and collectibles.
Starting November 1st, the Boys & Girls Club Furniture Thrift Store will be open 7 days per week from 10am to 4pm! The new location will be located at 967 Hancock Rd. Suite 57, just a few doors down from our current location in Suite 7.
For the months of November & December as we transition the furniture sales to the new location the store will showcase the BIGGEST selection of Christmas décor in the Tri-State! Gently used trees, ornaments, decorations as well as new items such as wrapping paper will be available at amazing prices to serve our community while raising money for the Club’s youth development programs.
Not all thrift stores are created equal, and we are very proud of the fact that all of the funds raised at our stores stay local and support our local kids! Having the thrift stores allows the Boys& Girls Club to be able to partner with other local non-profits such as Catholic Charities, Women’s Council, River Fund, McKinney Vento and others to supply items that are needed for our community. You can feel confident that whether you are donating, shopping or volunteering you are making a difference in the life of a child!
